Join Experience Community from our stand at the Keswick Mountain Festival at Crow Park for a short guided taster walk that's suitable for off-road mobility equipment. You can hire a mountain trike from Experience Community, or bring your own mobility equipment. This short walk is ideal for people wanting to build their confidence on unsurfaced woodland paths.
Please note:
- Meet us at the National Trust / Experience Community stand in the KMF festival village (CA12 5DJ).
- Please dress for the weather and if required, bring your own mobility equipment. You can also hire a mountain trike from Experience Community.
- The ramble will take place mostly on unsurfaced woodland paths with tree roots, some small boulders, occasional adverse camber, and some paths are narrow. There is a gradient (downhill and uphill) from the festival village to the lake of 8% which is on tarmac.
- Children are welcome but this event is geared towards an adult audience.
- Total distance: 1 mile (1.6km)\nTotal ascent: 65ft (20m)
