Summer theatre: Pride and Prejudice
Step back in time and meet Elizabeth Bennet and her sisters as they navigate the mire of manners of regency society.
With stunning period costume, timeless wit, and a romantic original score, Chapterhouse’s Pride and Prejudice is a faithful telling of Austen’s greatest work. Join family and friends for an evening of magical theatre as we bring the world’s favourite love story to Stourhead this summer.
Please note:
- Please meet at Stourhead National Trust car park. Ticket holders then make their way to the performance location within the garden. Gates open at 6pm, performance begins at 7pm.
- This is an outdoor performance, please wear suitable clothing for the weather.
- Carer tickets are available when purchased with a full price ticket.
- Please bring your own wheelchairs and mobility scooters if possible. We have a limited number all-terrain push wheelchairs and trampers available for hire on a first come first served basis. These must be booked in advance by calling 01747 841 152.
- Suitable for all the family.
- Please bring your own blanket or chairs. Areas will be divided around the stage with blankets and seating in separate areas to allow for everyone to see.
- Refreshments: Bring your own picnic. There will be a bar on site along with an ice cream and non-alcoholic drinks stand available near to the stage.
- Car parking charges apply: National Trust members free when you scan your membership card, non-members £4.50.
- We advise booking tickets for the performance in advance. There are limited tickets and we cannot guarantee that any will be available to purchase on the night.
- Well behaved dogs are welcome on short, fixed leads.
