Outdoor Theatre: Jeeves and Wooster in 'Stiff Upper Lip, Jeeves' - Greyfriars' House and Garden
Tethered Wits cordially invites you to an uproarious adventure with P.G. Wodehouse’s beloved characters, Jeeves and Wooster!
Outdoor theatre based on the novel by P.G. Wodehouse will be at Greyfriars on the 8 August.
Enter the whimsical world of Bertie Wooster, an affable young gentleman with a penchant for getting himself in the most outlandish predicaments. Thankfully, he has his razor-sharp valet, Jeeves, to rescue him from all sorts of mishaps.
Facing misadventures, from ill-fated romances to comical escapades, all set against the backdrop of a world filled with eccentric aunts, quirky friends, and a host of unforgettable characters.
Featuring live jazz music, from our ensemble of actor-musicians - a jolly good time awaits you!
Please note:
- Please arrive at the archway entrance to Greyfriars on Friar Street where your tickets will be checked by a steward.
- Make sure you bring a blanket or chair to sit on, and weather-appropriate gear as the performance will be held outdoors (please be mindful that umbrellas can block the view of others).
- Please note there are cobbles leading through the gateway, steps down to the garden and uneven surfaces throughout.
- Suitable for ages 7 and above (fun for all the family!)
- The Old Oak Café will be open before and during the interval of the show, selling a range of refreshments.
- 2 hour running time (including a 20 minute interval).
