Estate Walk: Badbury Rings
A walk with fine views and the opportunity to discover some of the fascinating history of the ancient Iron Age hill fort of Badbury Rings and the medieval building of Lodge Farm.
Distance: 4 miles. Time: approx. 3 hours.
This walk, taking place during the Council of British Archaeology's Festival of Archaeology, will be joined by a National Trust Ranger to discover the fascinating history of the Iron Age hill fort and the conservation work taking place.
Only assistance dogs can be welcomed on this walk.
Please note:
- Meet at Badbury Rings car park, located along the B3082. Follow brown tourist signs. What3Words location - ///sports.reception.overused.
- Walk starts at 10am, please aim to arrive 10 minutes early.
- Please wear appropriate sturdy walking shoes and clothing for the weather conditions. Ground can be wet and muddy following rain. Please bring any food and drink needed.
