Holywell: Delaval Discoveries Wider Estate Walk
Join us for our regular wider estate walks to discover more about the Delavals and their local interests. Take in delightful views across the landscape and find out more about the area's history.
This circular walk of just over four miles will give you the chance to explore the wider estate of Seaton Delaval Hall. Along the way, discover numerous points of interest, including a Norman church, castle ruins and Holywell Pond nature reserve.
Please note:
- Meet at Visitor Welcome.
- Please wear weather-appropriate, outdoor footwear. Heels are not recommended for this uneven and often muddy terrain.
- Paths can become waterlogged in places; waterproofs recommended in wet weather.
- This walk includes steps, uneven terrain and stiles.
- This walk takes in farmland where livestock graze; access dogs only.
- Tickets are for wider estate walk only and do not provide admission into Seaton Delaval Hall.
- Please note that timings are approximate.
