Explorers walk: sheep shearing
Walk to one of the oldest farms in the area and watch the sheep being sheared for the summer.
Join us on a walk to a local farm and learn how and why sheep need to be sheared.
Distance: 3 miles I Duration: 2.5 hours (approx.)
Please note:
- Meet at the Marsden Moor Office (HD7 6DH).
- Please bring wellies if you have them and dress appropriately for the weather.
- There may be some slightly muddy and steep paths, with some uneven sections. Worksheets/ID guides will be in English.
- Children welcome.
- No dogs please.
