Dawn Chorus Walk at Horsey Windpump
Celebrate nature's symphony with a dawn walk this May while picking out bird species along the way.
Wake up to the sounds of birds as you take a 3.4 mile walk around the picturesque edge of Horsey Mere, through Horsey village and ending back at Horsey Windpump where you’ll be provided with a hot drink and a croissant.
On the way, you'll pass a derelict 18th century windpump, Saxon church and look out for wildlife waking up.
Ticket Price: £12 (includes hot drink and croissant). Limited spaces are available. Free car parking available only during the event.
Please note:
- Meet at Horsey Windpump car park, Horsey, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, NR29 4EE. What3Words: thundered.lofts.pose
- Wear suitable clothes and footwear for the weather and outdoors, such and long sleeves, trousers and walking boots. Bring binoculars if you have them.
- Accessible toilet and parking spaces. Uneven terrain on the walking route, with a possibility of muddy patches.
- No dogs allowed, except assistance dogs by prior arrangement.
- Spaces are limited. Parking is included in the ticket price during event, but additional car parking charges apply afterwards: £4 for three hours, £6 all day and £8 for campervans for non-National Trust members, free for National Trust members.
