Join professional calligrapher and artist Peter Lloyd for an introduction to the world of calligraphy.
The workshop is designed as an introduction to the fascinating and relaxing world of calligraphy. It is also regarded as a mindfulness activity supporting wellbeing.
Participants will have an opportunity to learn the basic skills of broad-edge pen lettering through ‘Foundation Hand’. This is the first script all calligraphers learn.
Peter Lloyd is a professional calligrapher and artist with almost forty years of experience, working from his original brick-built pigsty in the beautiful Abberley Hills.
Free ‘Have a Go’ sessions
Come in for a drop-in session with Peter from 10am - 4pm on Wednesday 3, 10 and 24 April to find out more about the workshop, see demonstrations, and have a go yourself.

- Meet at The Long Gallery, located within the formal gardens.
- All materials for the workshop are provided.
- Please note there is no step free access into the Long Gallery.
