Autumn head-gardener tour including autumn apple and pear tasting, and afternoon tea

Join an exclusive Autumn tour of Canons Ashby’s beautiful garden led by our Head Gardener, with an autumnal apple and pear tasting from our variety of historic trees.

Learn about the history of the gardens, the plants around you, and the way the team cares for them. 
Then settle down for a small afternoon tea. 

This event will go on whatever the weather as long as it’s safe to do so. Please dress for whatever the weather brings.

The garden is not enormous, so it will not involve long walks, but there are stairs, steps and slopes throughout.

Afternoon tea includes a scone, mini sandwiches and mini bakes, with tea or coffee. If you want to visit the Coach House Shop, please go before the tour begins, it will be closed when this event finishes. 

If you have dietary requirements that need to be taken into account please let us know in advance.

£27 per person, booking in advance essential

Please note:

  • Please park in the main visitor car park and head to visitor reception.
  • Please dress for the weather. Most of this is outdoors.
  • This tour will involve steps, stairs and slopes.
  • This is aimed at adults but older can join with their guardians.This is not suitable for dogs except assistance dogs.
