Join one of our Rangers on a child friendly guided trail and educational workshop. Learn about different species of wildlife and the woodland that they call home.

A session full of discovery, our Little Rangers activities will encourage children to connect to the environment and spark their curiosity surrounding the natural world. Children will learn from our expert Ranger through fun activities, it’s perfect for parents or grandparents wanting to learn alongside their children and have a memorable outdoor experience at Ickworth. 

This activity is aimed at children between the ages of 3-7 years old. This event will last approximately 2 hours, please bring weather appropriate clothing. We recommend bringing a drink with you as this event takes place during the summertime. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This event is not suitable for leaving children unattended and a responsible adult must accompany the child throughout the duration of the event.

Please note:

• Normal Admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
• Meet at the Welcome Point by the car park.
• Wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear and come dressed for the weather.
• The event takes place in the Albana which is largely accessible but may leave the main path to explore the woodland.
• Suitable for young children aged between 3 and 7. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
