Ranger’s ramble: protecting our ancient bluebell woods
Join one of our rangers, as they guide you to experience our ancient woodland and how we protect it during its springtime bloom.
From bluebells to butterflies, this two-hour guided walk is an opportunity for visitors to discover the key features of a springtime woodland, as well as hearing of the conservation work that we are carrying out to protect it. Our ranger will answer all your questions along the way!

Please be aware that paths are uneven and may be muddy. Please wear suitable footwear and clothing for the weather.
Please note:
- The group will meet at the visitor centre and begin the walk from there.
- Please wear suitable clothing for the weather and appropriate footwear.
- We are sorry but due to the terrain this event is not suitable for wheelchairs, mobility vehicles or pushchairs.
- Children welcome to participate.
