Guided Parkland Walk
Join a guided walk around the medieval parkland at Melford Hall which will point out many points of historical interest.
For the very first time, 2024 provides a unique opportunity to explore the wider medieval park at Melford Hall. The guide will show you not just some of the archaeological remains (old and more modern) but also the magnificent and quite exceptional collection of giant ancient oak trees, all set in the historical context of the park. You will also see and hear about some of the grand buildings to be found surrounding Melford Hall.
Please note:
- Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Meet in the car park at Melford Hall.
- Please wear clothes suitable for the weather, to include stout footwear such as trainers or boots.
- There will be walking on uneven terrain with poor access in places, not suitable for wheelchair users.
- Not recommended for young children.
