A look into the life, loves and legacy of Florence Nightingale whose birthday is being celebrated at Claydon.
Join us on a special tour to hear lesser-known details about the remarkable woman who became the pioneer of modern nursing.
Please arrive promptly at 3.00pm for a 3.15pm start. To book on the day call the Central Booking Office on 0344 249 1895.
Please note:
- The ticket cost is for the tour only. If non members want to visit the house beforehand, they will need to purchase an entry ticket as normal earlier in the day.
- Signposted A413 (Buckingham), A41 (Waddesdon crossroads). M40 junction 9 (Bicester) follow A41, turn off to Grendon Underwood and Calvert, signposted from Calvert Crossroads.
- The tour is mainly upstairs, finishing downstairs, so isn't accessible for those in wheelchairs and/or those unable to manage stairs.
- Children welcome.
