Sunset Series: Nightingale
A completely original, brand-new dance production based on the life and works of Florence Nightingale brought to you by New Creations Collective.
Florence's legendary life was marked by monumental achievements and extraordinary events. Get to know her through her personal diaries and experience her story like never before as you're taken on a journey from her childhood, to becoming the first woman to receive an order of Merit from King Edward.
Performed by an accomplished cast of dancers and musicians, this high-quality, original ballet is guaranteed to be an inspiring and informative experience for adults and children alike.
Building on the success of New Creation Collective’s 2021 and 2022 performances of The Secret Garden, they are excited to offer you another sublime original score by Adam Kornas and more authentic, character-driven choreography by Nina Monteiro.
The evening will also include a free workshop led by NCC company members for children aged 8 years and older at 5pm. An exploration of musical rhythms and storytelling through movement, be sure to get down early and join us for a fun introduction to dance. Places are allocated on a first come first serve basis, wear comfortable shoes and clothes you can move around in.
