Great Big Green Week: Climate Coffee & Lichen Walk & Talk

Learn about lichens and how climate change affects them on this walk and talk in the grounds of Allan Bank.

Join in the conversation at Allan Bank and learn how our woodland lichens are sensitive to climate change, followed by a guided walk around the grounds to see them close up and find out more. 

Approximately 2 hours. Sturdy footwear is recommended.

Please note:

  • Normal admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
  • Please meet at the welcome building.
  • Accessible toilet on ground floor. Blue Badge parking. Not accessible by mobility scooter. The woodland path has an uneven surface, rugged steps and steep sections.
  • Please wear comfortable clothing, sensible outdoor footwear and bring a coat as we will be outdoors.
  • Help yourself to teas, coffee and water from inside the house. A small donation is suggested.
  • Maximum of 8 people per group. Please book your free place.
