Solstice in the Forest
Join us to celebrate the start of summer in the heart of Hatfield Forest.
Join us for a magical evening of music, food and dancing with your closest family and friends at the Forest. For one night only, immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the lakeside while the enchanting sounds of folk music provide the soundtrack to the sunset on the longest day of the year.
Get closer to nature and take part in wellness activities or take the hand of a loved one and test your barn dancing skills. Suitable for all the family, Hatfield Forest is the place to be this summer solstice.

Please note:
- Head to the Lake area, be prepared to show your tickets at the entrance gate to receive your wrist band. Ticketed entry open from 17:00.
- The Forest will be open during the day as usual, please check in at The Hub within the Lake Area to receive your wristband if you are onsite prior to 17:00.
- This is an open air event so dress for the weather. A torch is advisable as the parking for the event is a short walk from the event area.
- Accessible parking available at the Lakeside Car Park, directly next to the event area. No steps are involved across the whole site, however there is uneven ground in some areas. Staff and volunteers are on hand across the event area to support with additional needs. Accessible toilets are available at multiple locations. The main parking is a 5 minute walk from the event area via a boardwalk.
- This is a family friendly event and children are welcome.
- Please buy an adult ticket if you are aged 18 or above. Please buy a Family Ticket if you are attending with Children (under 5's go free).
- Licensed bar, our cafe and another food vendor are available available if you wish to purchase food and drink. Our toilets will be open with additional toilet provisions in the lakeside car park. Smoking and vaping is not permitted in the main event area, but a designated area will be available.
- Under 5's go free and do not require a ticket.
