Summer floral workshop
During this workshop with local florist, Sue Scott, learn the techniques to condition stems, and work with shape and form, and create a beautiful summer arrangement in a vintage jug with seasonal flowers. Materials and cream tea included.
This workshop will give you the confidence and techniques to create a beautiful summer floral arrangement using seasonal flowers. Not only will you leave with a fantastic bouquet of flowers in a vintage jug, but also the skills to recreate your own arrangements in the future, including conditioning flower stems, and the power of the 'Florist Three'. Many of the blooms will be sourced from Avebury Manor Garden. Why not visit the garden after your workshop to see the wonderful summer displays?
Materials included as well as cream tea refreshments provided by the National Trust restaurant.
Please note:
- Please bring confirmation of your ticket to the barn visitor reception on arrival. The workshop will take place in the Hayloft above Circles Restaurant.
- All materials are included but if you wish to bring an apron and gardening gloves please do.
- There are stairs to access the venue.
- This event is aimed at adults.
- Parking is free for event attendees in the main National Trust car park. Please display a copy of your event ticket on the dashboard of your car.
