In partnership with Blackwater Community Barge, we are running accessible summer boat trips.
Nestled amidst the serene landscapes, the Blackwater River has been a lifeline since the 1800s, serving as a vital artery for transporting goods and people, blending business with leisure for the McGeough Bond Family.
Join us for a memorable boat trip along the tranquil waters of the Blackwater River. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking views and embark on a journey through time as we pay homage to the legacy of this historic waterway.
Slots are running from 10:30am (every 30 mins) until 5pm
Price - £4 per adult and £2 per child.
This price is an additional charge on top of the admission fee/member entry.

Please note:
- Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time for a safety briefing.
- Please park in the main car park and you will be checked in by a member of our team. The boat trip will depart from Bond's Bridge jetty (which is approx 5 min walk).
- Dress for comfort.
- If you want to arrange an accessible pick up then please email: argory@nationaltrust.org.uk
- Suitable for children if accompanied by an adult.
