Join our house and collections team on a behind the scenes tour of the Mansion. Including exclusive access to the cellars, stores and staterooms.

Discover the what goes on behind closed doors with Shugborough's house and collections team, including important conservation works on the mansion and collection.
Have exclusive access to areas of the mansion which are not usually open to visitors, including the state bedroom and basement.
Please note:
- Standard admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Please head to visitor reception on arrival. The tour starts from the Mansion Portico.
- This tour takes place across multiple floors of the mansion, including attic spaces and the basement. There is no step free access on this tour. We have a limited amount of hearing loops available, please reserve the use of a hearing loop by emailing shugboroughvisitorexperience@nationaltrust.org.uk.
- During part of the tour you will need to wear a hard hat (provided).
- This tour lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes approximately.
- This event is family friendly, although more suited towards adults.
