Writing workshop: crime fiction

Channel your inner Christie with a taster workshop on writing crime fiction with author Cate Quinn

Ideal for beginners to writing, and for anyone who has written in the past and wants to polish up their skills.

The workshop will take place in the House Kitchen. As there are items of the collection in this room, we ask that no food or drink is brought in.

Cate Quinn is a travel and lifestyle journalist for The Times, the Guardian and the Mirror alongside many magazines. Prior to this, Quinn’s background in historical research won prestigious postgraduate funding from the British Art Council. Quinn pooled these resources, combining historical research with first-hand experiences in far-flung places to create critically acclaimed bestselling historical fiction.
