Writing workshop: guide to writing short stories

Everyone has a story to tell. Everyone has a unique voice with which to tell that story. Join award winning author Jenny Kane on a taster workshop to learn tips on how to write short stories.

This fiction workshop is ideal for for anyone who wants to have fun with words and build their creative writing skills, beginner or not.

The workshop will take place in the House Kitchen. As there are items of the collection in this room, we ask that no food or drink is brought in.

From the comfort of her cafe corner in Mid Devon, award winning author, Jenny Kane, has written over 30 novels, including the bestselling contemporary women’s fiction and romance novels, Winter Fires at Mill Grange (Aria, 2021), Spring Blossoms at Mill Grange, (Aria 2021), Autumn Leaves at Mill Grange, (Aria, 2020), Midsummer Dreams at Mill Grange (Aria, 2020), A Cornish Escape (2nd edition, HeadlineAccent, 2020),  A Cornish Wedding (2nd edition, HeadlineAccent, 2020), Romancing Robin Hood (2nd edition, Littwitz Press, 2018),  Another Glass of Champagne (Accent Press, 2016), Another Cup of Coffee (Accent Press, 2013), Frost Falls at The Potting Shed (Aria, 2022).
