Keeps the kids entertained over the summer holidays on a volunteer led Family Activity Walk.

Are you looking for a summer holiday activity for the kids? Why not join the National Trust for a 3 mile adventure through the beautiful Clent Hills countryside on the Guided Family Activity Walk. 

Take part in a scavenger hunt, find creepy crawlies using magnifying containers and learn a little more about hills, things that grow here and the creatures that call it home. 

You’ll even get the chance to help light a fire and toast a marshmallow or two at our bushcraft site. 

This event is designed for any size of family, providing a perfect blend of nature exploration and exciting activities. Some activities are weather dependant.

Please note:

• Please meet at the Nimmings Road car park for a 10am start. Usual parking charges apply (free for National Trust members).
• Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time.
• Please dress for the weather and bring a drink with you. Sensible footwear such as walking boots should be worn.
• The route does include walking up steep sections of hill and climbing over fences and stiles.
• The walk is approximately 3 miles and takes around 3 hours.
• Not suitable for very young children. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• The walks start and finish at the National Trust car park at Nimmings Wood. There are toilet facilities and a cafe here where you can buy refreshments.
