River Severn Walk
Explore more of Dudmaston and the countryside beyond on this gentle volunteer led 7km guided walk along the River Severn.
At the banks of the River Severn, along the southern tip of the Dudmaston Estate sits Hampton Loade. Starting and finishing from Hampton Loade car park, join this gentle guided 7km walk along the river towards Severn Valley Country Park and back.
Just like the wellbeing walks this is a great opportunity to chat, spot nature and make new friends. This is a must do for those looking to explore further than Comer Woods.
The café and toilets at Severn Valley Country park will be open.
The National Trust is pleased to offer this walk in partnership with South Staffordshire Water and Severn Valley Country park.
Please note:
- Meet us in the car park at Hampton Loade (WV15 6HD). From Dudmaston Hall, pass through the village of Quatt and turn right off the A442. The car park is signposted.
- This is an outdoor activity so walking boots are recommended, please dress for the weather.
- Route will involve climbing steps and navigating fields and riverbank.
- This activity is aimed at adults but children are welcome.
- This is a walk suitable for a range of abilities, so will go at a relaxed pace.
