Join us at Munstead Wood to discover the remarkable story of Gertrude Jekyll. Join a guided tour led by one of our enthusiastic volunteers to hear about the history of this beautiful house and garden and learn more about the work of the National Trust to open it to the public.
Tours will last ninety minutes and include the house and garden. Parking will be onsite, but please carefully read the directions below. While we undertake work to open the property to the public it remains a private house, so please be aware there are no food and beverage facilities at Munstead Wood. Please wear shoes suitable for exploring a garden and be equipped for the weather forecast on the day of your tour.

Booking for these tours is essential, we will not be able to accommodate visitors who arrive without a booking on the day. National Trust Members must bring their individually named membership cards with them on the day of their visit.
To access the property please follow the directions you will receive with your ticket, and not your sat nav as this will often direct you to the wrong location.

Please note:
- Please meet at Munstead Wood, Heath Lane, Godalming, Surrey, GU7 1UN. Upon arrival, please park as directed by the steward.
- Shoes suitable for exploring a garden. Please come equipped for the weather forecast on the day of your visit.
- The tour and ground floor of the house is wheelchair accessible. The first floor is accessed up a staircase of 18 steps with three half landings. There is a toilet with level access in the house but it is not a fully accessible toilet. Parking is adjacent to the front of the house on a gravelled driveway.
- These tours are suitable for children aged 16+.
- Please arrive no more than 20 minutes before the start of your tour.
