Meditation & Tea: a wellbeing experience
Join tea merchant Michelle Comins & meditation teacher Camille Elizabeth for a unique tea & wellbeing experience in the gardens of Kingston Lacy before normal opening.
You will be welcomed into the peaceful Kingston Lacy gardens and enjoy a walking meditation before entering the heart of the Japanese Garden to enjoy a meditative tea experience.
After a welcome from Michelle you will be invited to take your own tea set out into nature - the teas you will enjoy are all from Fukuoka prefecture in Japan with whom Comins have a close connection. The session will end with tea and a tea-based sweet treat in the Japanese Tea Garden.
About Michelle:
Michelle Comins is co-founder of Comins Tea, a British based direct trade tea merchants. Michelle has spent the last decade travelling the world to learn about & source fine teas and has a special connection with the teas of Fukuoka which she will share with you.
About Camille:
Camille Elizabeth hosts classes and retreats that explore the practice of meditation and mindful living. Most recently her work has centred on helping people find relaxation and ease by connecting to sources of tranquillity in their lives.
Please note:
- Please arrive promptly, and show your ticket at Visitor Reception. You will then be lead up to the garden to begin your experience.
- Please wear sensible shoes and appropriate clothes for the weather conditions. We recommend wearing light layers.
- Some areas of the garden are not accessible by wheelchair or mobility scooter. If you would like to attend this event and have access requirements, please contact us directly to discuss.
