Woodland Cyanotype workshop with Lisa Pettibone

Lisa Pettibone will guide you in creating your own cyanotype artworks using natural materials that you will have gathered during the session. - something really different and magical to produce.

Cyanotype printing is an early photographic process (John Herschel 1842) producing white imagery on a deep Prussian blue background, magically developed before your eyes in daylight. Local artist Lisa Pettibone will guide you through the process to create a series of beautiful blue photo prints to frame, make into cards or bookmarks. No previous experience required. All equipment will be provided as will tea & biscuits.

Based in Surrey, Lisa Pettibone is a visual artist working in sculpture (glass and mixed media), installation and print. Expressing concepts related to natural forces and the evolution of form, her practice investigates the nature of human perception through the lens of science. She is a member of the Royal Society of Sculptors.
