Ilam Park: Autumn: YHA Festival of Walking: Family Guided Walk
A family friendly guided walk along the Manifold river up the hill to Thorpe, down to the famous Stepping stones and back for a well deserved slice of cake.
As part of the YHA walking festival, explore the beautiful White Peak, enjoying the serene river Manifold, see the spot where it joins the river Dove. The walk is approximately 4 miles long, over fields and occasional rocky terrain with some hills.
Please note:
- Parking charges apply for non National Trust members (£5 up to 4 hours, £7 all day).
- Meet at the Welcome hut in the car park.
- Wear sturdy shoes and come prepared for the weather, whether sunhats or raincoats.
- Bring a packed lunch.
- Suitable for accompanied children over the age of 10.
- Sorry no dogs.
