Father Christmas at Anglesey Abbey
Don't miss this brand new Christmas experience at Anglesey Abbey.
Experience a magical, festive encounter this winter as Father Christmas comes to stay at Anglesey Abbey. This immersive Santa experience is put on by The Walking Theatre Company.
Make and decorate a Christmas wish in the present room with Pepper Mint the Elf then snuggle up in the decorated scullery to hear a story from Father Christmas. Each session lasts 45 minutes, with time for photographs and a gift from Father Christmas for each child at the end.
Dates to meet Father Christmas:
- Friday 29 Nov to Sunday 1 Dec
- Friday 6 Dec to Sunday 8 Dec
- Friday 13 Dec to Sunday 15 Dec
- Friday 20 Dec to Monday 23 Dec
Times: 9.45am, 10.30am, 11.15am, 12.30pm, 1.15pm, 2pm, 2.45pm.
We recommend this event is suitable for children aged 3+. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Due to space in the scullery, we can only admit one adult per child (one adult is included in the ticket price) and children will be in a small group. Santa can only see so many children in one go, so do book early to avoid disappointment!

Please note that normal admission to Anglesey Abbey applies and is not included in this ticket. The House is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the Visitor Centre, please arrive with plenty of time to get to the House. We cannot guarantee late entry due to the nature of the event.

- Normal admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Please show you booking confirmation on arrival, and make your way to the House courtyard.
- This event is indoors. There will be an area to store pushchairs and large items of clothing. You will be waiting outside for your session to start. Please dress for the weather.
- Please get in touch if you have any access requirements. We'd love to work with you to ensure you and your family are able to have the best possible experience. Only working assistance dogs are allowed at Anglesey Abbey and in the House. Email us at angleseyabbey@nationaltrust.org.uk.
- Recommended for children under the age of 12.
- Please note that the Visitor Centre is a 10 minute walk to the house, so aim to arrive 10 minutes before your timed slot. Pre-booked tickets only. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Assistance dogs only.
