Christmas Ghost Stories at Greyfriars' House and Garden

Dr Nicolas Grimoire presents, for your festive entertainment and amusement, a fine selection of Christmas ghost stories.

Who doesn't love a ghost story? And there's no better time to tell them than at Christmas when we traditionally enjoy tales of spooks and spectres, phantoms and ghouls.

Award-winning Gothic storyteller Dr Nicolas Grimoire has a wonderful collection of festive frighteners ranging from Victorian classics to twentieth century mysteries with snow-bound settings that range from country mansions and isolated farmhouses to rural roads and rented rooms.

Because of the nature of these stories the evening is not suitable for the under-fourteens or those of a nervous disposition.

Gates open at 19.00.

Please note:

  • The gates on Friar Street through the carriageway will open for ticket holders at 19.00.

  • Please be aware there are uneven surfaces throughout the property, and there are a few steps over the threshold to enter the performance area.
