Night sky observing at Dunwich Heath
Wrap up warm and join us for an evening under the stars at Dunwich Heath.
Astronomers from DASH Astronomical Society will set up telescopes, giving you a close up view of the moon and stars - and hopefully some planets and nebulae too! We'll also be serving hot drinks and light snacks.
Please note:
- Please make your way to Heath Barn, opposite the Coastguard Cottages, when you arrive.
- Wrap up warm for this outdoor evening event. Hats and gloves are advisable. Please avoid using bright torches as it disrupts the dark sky conditions. Red lights are provided.
- Accessible to all.
- This event is suitable for children and families.
