Fungi Festival: Talk - Emmetts Garden & Fungi by Ignacio Silva de la Iglesia
Join Emmetts Gardens Head Gardener, Ignacio de la Iglesia, as he delves into the fantastical fungi at Emmetts Garden.
Born and raised in Galicia, Spain, Ignacio Silva de la Iglesia grew up with a passion for plants and gardening.
He moved to the UK in 2004 and gained wide-ranging experience in maintaining and creating green spaces both in the public and the private sectors.
Among others, Ignacio helped to maintain public parks and housing estates for Lambeth Council, realised soft-landscaping projects, and maintained commercial and high-end private gardens across London.
Having completed the RHS Master of Horticulture and the Kew Diploma in Horticulture, Ignacio Silva now works for the National Trust as Head Gardener at Emmetts Garden.
