Apple Grafting Workshop

Join us for an apple grafting workshop and learn, practice and take home your very own grafted apple tree.

Come along to Tenants' Hall for a morning workshop delivered by David Ramsay, known as the Porlock Pippin. Discover the importance of grafting apple trees, learn techniques and tips, before putting it into practice. Take your apple tree home with you and watch it grow. 

Afterwards, head to the Watermill Tearoom to enjoy a hot drink and a slice of cake. 

All equipment and tools with be provided.

Please note:

  • Please park in Dunster Castle car park and make your way to the Ticket Office, where a member of staff will greet you before escorting you to Tenants' Hall to begin the workshop.
  • Please wear sensible, flat shoes and come well wrapped up.
  • There is a steep hill leading up to the castle. Tenants' Hall is wheel accessible.
  • A hot drink and cake voucher will be provided for after the event. This can be used in the Watermill Tearoom.
  • The event is not suitable for children under the age of 13.
