Quiet Visits with Father Christmas at the Rock Houses
Longer quieter visits with traditional Father Christmas for those children who need to visit at a quieter time or need extra time.
Our traditional Father Christmas, Mother Christmas and their woodland elves will be at the Rock Houses on the weekends of 30th November and 1 December, 7th and 8th December and 14th and 15th December.
In these quieter sessions, children will get the opportunity to visit Father Christmas in his Rock House grotto, can have a chat with him, receive a gift and have their photo taken. Once they have visited Father Christmas they can make magic reindeer food, make a wish for the world and create a natural bird feeder to take home.
Tickets £10.50 per child. Normal admission applies. Max 6 children per session.
Sessions every 10 minutes from 10am until 10:20.
All children will receive a small gift from Father Christmas. Christmas craft activities will also be available. Help us make some reindeer food and leave it out for Rudolph and friends to enjoy on Christmas Eve.
The tearoom will also be open for delicious seasonal treats.
Admission to the Rock Houses applies to non-members. Free entry for National Trust members and under 5s.
Please note:
- Normal Admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Arrive at Visitor Reception 10 minutes before your visit time.
- Father Christmas will be in one of the rock houses but the activities will be outside so please dress appropriately for the weather.
- There are steep hills, uneven ground and some steps.
- Suitable for children aged up to 10.
