Fascinating Fungi Guided Walk

Join us with mycologists from the Northwest fungus group for a guided fungi walk. We will be exploring Formby’s woodlands in search for the fungal species that grow here.

This walk is suitable for fungi enthusiasts or people who are curious about the extraordinary subject of fungi, how to identify and record them, their conservation, microscopy and recommendations for books and literature.

The walk will last for 2 hours and will be a stop start event where we will talk to you about what we have found. Tim has asked to bring microscopes so we can have a closer look at any interesting fungal specimens.

Parking is free for participants.

Tickets are limited so booking is essential for members and non members alike.
