Join us for a Tree Walking Adventure at Ightham Mote with tree expert Anthony Nield. Explore some of the most stunning areas of the estate and gardens, featuring incredible trees like the Tulip tree, Giant Redwood, and Black Walnut. 

Anthony, who studied at the prestigious Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh, brings over 18 years of experience as Estate Manager at Hall Place and Gardens, Bexley. During the walk, he’ll share fascinating insights and stories about the origins of these magnificent trees. 

After the walk, enjoy a hot drink and a delicious pastry in the café, included as part of your experience.

Please note:

  • Please meet at Visitor Reception.
  • Being Autumn in the UK, you never know what to expect, so be prepared with warm waterproof clothing.
  • The garden is steep in places with steps and gravel, cobbles and grass pathways. Pushchairs are permitted in all areas of the garden, but please take care. Cameras are welcome but due to narrow paths please do not use tripods or stands. Take care, there are many open water areas around the garden.
  • Children are welcome.
