This special behind-the-scenes experience, created by Sunnycroft’s team, takes you beyond the curtain of the Christmas panto mash-up. You’ll wander through the house as it’s transformed into a world where pantos collide, Jack’s magic beans might still be lying around, but without the rush to meet Father Christmas, you can take your time to spot every detail. See the giant’s stomping ground, the slipper left “behind you,” and the genie’s lair, all while sipping mulled wine and enjoying a mince pie. Along the way, you’ll hear how the stories are woven together and what it takes to turn Sunnycroft into a festive stage. It’s a rare chance to savour the magic at a slower pace, with plenty of surprises tucked into every room.

Peek behind the scenes on a 30 minutes timed session between 11am-2pm from 10 December to 19 December. Pre-book your timed entry ticket online.

Sunnycroft is only open for pre-booked ticket holders this December. Group sizes are limited to 20 people due to the size of the house. Pre-booking is essential. This experience is recommended for ages 14+. Tickets cost £10 per person and includes a drink and a sweet treat.

Please note:

• Father Christmas is at Sunnycroft (200 Holyhead Rd, Wellington, Telford TF1 2DR) about 15 / 20 minutes from Attingham and not on the Attingham main estate.
• Please dress for the weather.
• Sunnycroft house is a small historic house and has three steps up to each doorway to enter or exit this event. This event is unsuitable for wheelchair or buggy access. There is no handrail at the entrance to the house. Inside, your visit is all on the ground floor of the house which is level. Seating is available if required around the house.
• Recommend for 14 years+ and for those who want to share in the magic.
• Please arrive no more than 10 - 15 minutes before your time slot as parking at Sunnycroft is limited, and entry to the house is by time slot only. On arrival you will be greeted by our welcome team and guided to the front of the house where you will be met. The house is 150 yards from the carpark. Your visit should last around 20 - 30 minutes from arrival to leaving the Sunnycroft site. There is no catering available at Sunnycroft. We recommend making a day of it by also visiting Attingham Park: it’s a 15 - 20 min drive towards Shrewsbury. If you would like to visit the Attingham Mansion please also book a timed entry slot.
