Autumn Photography Workshops - Leith Hill
Join us for an opportunity to explore the wonderful area on and around Leith Hill with your SLR camera, improve your photography skills, and take some great photos.
For beginners / intermediate photographers.
The workshop will take place in the beautiful woodlands high in the Surrey Hills. We shall explore the reds, yellows, browns, and oranges of autumn colours, and see the changing of the seasons through the woodland.
The aim of the workshop will be to better understand some of our SLR camera settings and learn to take photos in manual mode rather than automatic mode. Participants will return from the workshop with a series of great images that tell a story of autumn in the Surrey Hills.
Nearby refreshments are available from Coldharbour Village, Leith Hill Tower, and the recently renovated National Trust property Leith Hill Place, which is well worth a visit.
Please note that this workshop relates to SLR camera photography rather than camera phones.
Also for note, there are no toilet facilities on this workshop and being outdoors on woodland paths which may be rough and muddy, suitable footwear and clothing should be worn.
Parking is recommended at the Rhododendron Wood carpark where normal parking charges apply. NT members park for free.
Please note:
- Standard car parking charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Please meet at the Rhododendron Wood Car Park.
- Dress for the weather. Wear sturdy footwear.
- There are narrow woodland paths, trip hazards, slippery surfaces, steps, and slopes.
- Not suitable for under 16 years of age.
