Nature Towns And Cities
Life is better lived close to nature. Evidence shows it makes us healthier, happier, more connected and more resilient. But years of squeezed resources and competition for urban space has meant that nature and green space has been neglected and lost from many neighbourhoods. The Nature Towns and Cities partnership is tackling this by helping local authorities, their partners, and communities bring the benefits of nature to every urban neighbourhood. We’re offering support including funding to build capacity and partnerships, peer networks to share learning and practical solutions, and schemes to attract new investment.
Join our webinar on Tuesday 8th October 11:00 - 12:30 to find out more about what we’re offering organisations like yours. As well as an introduction to the programme overall, and how it will work, we’ll hear from the National Lottery Heritage Fund who will give an overview of the £15million grant programme and how to apply.
The webinar will take place on Zoom. Once you’ve booked your space, we’ll send you an email with a link and instructions before the webinar starts. This webinar will be presented by the National Trust, The National Lottery Heritage Fund, and Natural England.
