Father Christmas at Arlington Court (sensory friendly)

Join us for a sensory-friendly Father Christmas experience on 21, 22 and 23 December at 3pm. These sessions feature quiet surroundings (no music), soft lighting, and reduced capacity to help create a relaxed atmosphere.

Come to our festive grotto in the stables harness room and meet our traditional green Father Christmas who is visiting Arlington Court.

All good children will receive a present. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Accompanying adults do not need to book tickets but normal admission still applies on arrival.

Please note that when you book a 30 minute time slot, Father Christmas will see you within that 30 minute slot, however there could be a 5-25 minute wait. Please check in with Elf on your arrival.

Please note:

  • Normal Admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
  • Please enter via visitor reception who will give you directions to Father Christmas at the Carriage Museum stable block.
  • Please dress up warmly as there may be a wait to meet Father Christmas and the stable can be chilly.
  • Pushchairs and wheelchairs welcome. Where possible, we aim to have the shuttle buggy running which can collect passengers to take them to the Carriage Museum, this depends on volunteer availability.
