Chapel Concert: Bristol Gay Men's Chorus
Come see a special Christmas Concert from Bristol Gay Men's Chorus, who use the power of music to bring people together, in Partnership with St George's Bristol's Festival of Voice.
Bristol Gay Men’s Chorus will be performing a mixture of Christmas and pop songs as part of our special series of matinee chapel concerts, in partnership with St George’s Bristol’s Festival of Voice.
Established in 2019, Bristol Gay Men’s Chorus is an open and inclusive choir composed of gay and gay-friendly men who love to sing and perform. They believe in promoting diversity, equality, and social inclusion through their music, events, and activities. Plus, they love to have a good time while doing it!
Bristol Gay Men’s Chorus recognise the power of music to bring people together and help alleviate feelings of isolation. Through singing, they cultivate social bonds and a sense of belonging.
They don't stick to one particular musical genre and love to mix things up. From pop to classical, traditional to contemporary, they’ve got it all covered.
“As members of the LGBTQ+ community, we know how important it is to create a safe and welcoming space for everyone, no matter who they are or where they come from. That's why we're committed to spreading the message of love and acceptance through our music and our actions.”
Please note:
- Standard admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Meet at the entrance to the chapel staircase in the chapel courtyard. Please note this is about a 15 minute walk from the Welcome Building, so arrive in plenty of time before the concert starts.
- Please dress appropriately for the weather. Layers and sturdy shoes are advisable.
- Please note the event is only accessible via several steps. The chapel is approximately a 15 minute walk from the car park. Our mobility bus will be available for those who require it. The short, steep path down to the chapel is unsuitable for wheelchairs.
- Children under 5 do not need a ticket, however this is limited to one child per paying adult, as they will be expected to sit on the adult's lap if the event is sold out.
