Nature Towns and Cities: Nature as Part of the Urban Fabric

Join us for a free webinar on Monday 21st October, 15:00-16:30 to find out more about what we’re offering organisations like yours. In the first of several themed webinars, we will explore the opportunities and benefits of green infrastructure for people and place. We will hear from exciting and ambitious project teams who will share their learnings and experience followed by a Q&A with industry peers. Speakers include Nottingham City Council who will be taking us through their work on creating significant new green spaces in the city centre, particularly the new Broadmarsh Park, and of the creation and delivery of the first urban Nature Network in Scotland by the City of Edinburgh Council.

Over the coming weeks, we will be holding further themed sessions on topics including community-led greening, health and wellbeing, and funding and finance, to give you a taste of what you can expect from Nature Towns and Cities in the future. Keep an eye out and sign up to our mailing list to keep up to date on upcoming events.

The webinars will take place on Zoom. Once you’ve booked your space, we’ll send you an email with a link and instructions before the webinar starts. This webinar will be presented by the National Trust, The National Lottery Heritage Fund, and Natural England
