BSL - Father Christmas Grotto 2024 - Saltram
Stop by Father Christmas and his BSL signer in his Grotto this year to share your festive wishes in our historic stables.
This year, why not come and visit Father Christmas in his Grotto in our historical stable yard?
Father Christmas will be welcoming visitors in the grotto for families who would like to share their festive wishes and then receive a wrapped Christmas book as a gift. Our BSL signer Jase Trotter will also be there to help families communicate with Father Christmas.
These grotto sessions are perfect for families who want a more relaxed experience. Or for families looking for the grotto experience with a British Sign Language signer.
Pre-booking is required for all Grotto sessions. Please book by clicking on the ‘Check Availability’ button.
Our Father Christmas is played by Clive PiG - Storyteller and Children's Author.
Entry to Father Christmas does not include entry to the house and needs to be booked separately.
Pre-booking is required for all BSL grotto sessions. If you do not require a BSL signer, please consider attending another Father Christmas grotto session which does not need to be pre-booked. We want as many families as possible from the deaf community or families who require BSL to be able to access Father Christmas.
Please note:
- Entry to Father Christmas does not include entry to the house and needs to be booked separately. Parking charges apply unless NT member
- Please head to the Tack room in the stables yard at the start of your session time. Please be prepared to queue outside. Please arrive at the start of your booking slot. Please be prepared to queue outside if a previous session has overrun.
- The Tack room can get chilly, so please wrap up warm
- Level access into the Tack room, can be bumpy on entry. BSL signed session.
If you require a familiarisation visit, please contact Saltram - Suitable for children age 6 and over.
