Behind the Attic Door: Guided Tours
Step behind the attic door at The Children's Country House at Sudbury with guided tours every Monday.
Have you ever wondered what stood behind the attic door at The Children's Country House at Sudbury? Now's your chance to find out with guided tours taking place on Mondays.
Led by guides, venture into spaces not usually open to the public and learn about the lives of servants at Sudbury Hall.
Each tour is approximately 45 to 50 minutes.
Please note:
- Standard admissions charges apply to non-members on arrival.
- Please arrive at the meeting point 5 minutes before the start of the tour.
- For the tours, please check in at Visitor Services first and meet at the Side Hall.
- Please wear suitable footwear as there is uneven floor and steps throughout the tour.
- There is no step-free access on the attic tours, and there are approximately 78 steep stairs to take.
- Aimed at children over 9 and adults.
- A maximum of 10 in each tour group.
- Attic Tours must be booked in advance.
