Ranger Career Session
Considering a career as a Ranger? Join our half day Ranger Career Session. This is suitable for students over 14 and career switchers.
Join our Lead Ranger for a ½ day career session to find out more about the work of rangers and conservation at Ickworth:
- For those who want a greater understanding of the work of a ranger at Ickworth and elsewhere within the National Trust.
- What is involved plus skills and experience needed
- How and why the National Trust manages land and what we do at Ickworth – the session will also include an estate tour.
These sessions are limited to 4 people only and are suitable for those 14 and over, under 18's must be accompanied by an adult. No ticket/booking is required for the supervising guardian.
Please note:
- Meet at the Welcome Point.
- The session will include an outside estate tour, so please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
- Will include an estate walk - please call us on 01284 735270 if you have any accessibility requirements.
- Suitable for 14 and over, under 18's must be accompanied by an adult. When booking a child slot a guardian slot is included within the booking.
