Tissue Paper Window Scenes
Make a whimsical stained-glass style scene using tissue paper. All materials and instruction provided.
Cheer up wintery windows by learning to make a stained-glass tissue paper scene at Tinkley Gate, Woodchester Park. Follow from a range of set templates or take inspiration from the beautiful scenery to create your own design and build the tissue paper into layers of colours that are illuminated by the light of a window. Take home your wonderful creation to decorate the cold winter nights with. This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience from beginner to more advanced.
Please note:
- The event will be held in the cosy conservatory area of Tinkley Gate Cafe at the Tinkley Gate entrance to Woodchester Park. Please meet inside of the Cafe.
- All the materials and tools will be provided for you. All you need to bring is yourself. You may be sitting at a table for up to two hours so comfy clothes are advisable.
- There are accessible parking spaces just outside Tinkley Gate Cafe. Wheelchair access and an accessible toilet inside the Cafe. All the chairs for the event will have backs, though there will be space for wheelchairs if required.
- Over 16s only.
- We will be meeting in the cafe at the Tinkley Gate entrance to Woodchester Park. There are two car parks for Woodchester Park. One is called Buckholt and the other is called Tinkley Gate. The brown signs direct you to Buckholt rather than Tinkley Gate. If you have access to google maps then typing in "Tinkley Gate National Trust Car Park" will take you to the correct entrance. If you follow Tinkley Lane between Nympsfield and Nailsworth, then look out for two yellow banners on the same side of the road that mark the entrance to Tinkley Gate Car Park.
