Join this tour to visit the roof of Castle Drogo. Discover more about the castle's design and story and its place in the Dartmoor landscape.

This guided tour will take you onto the roof of the castle to see the design of this area up close and (Dartmoor weather depending) see the breathtaking views across the landscape. You have to be over 1.2 metres tall to join the tour as well as be physically fit, have a head for heights and be wearing sturdy footwear. The tours are subject to weather conditions on the day so may have to be cancelled at the last minute.

Please note:

• Normal Admission charges apply to non-members on arrival.
• Meet at the entrance to the castle.
• Dress for the weather. The roof can get very hot in summer and very cold in winter. Sturdy footwear is essential.
• There are several flights of stairs and steps (some without handrails) and uneven surfaces on this tour.
• Children must be over 1.2m tall and accompanied by an adult.
• The Dartmoor weather is very unpredictable and this tour can only go ahead in certain conditions. It may have to be cancelled at the very last minute.
