Guided Walk: New Year Day Walk
Start the New Year with a walk on the moorland.
Join us on New Year’s Day for a bracing 5 mile circular walk crossing the National Trust's Pule Hill.
Expect some steep uphill and downhill sections and moorland paths which may be uneven and boggy.
The walk is suitable for walkers comfortable with the walk distance within the allotted time.
This walk is 6 miles and will take approx. 3 hours.
Please note:
- Meet at the Marsden offices (Information Room, The Old Goods Yard Station Road, Huddersfield, HD7 6DH).
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time of the walk so we can cover relevant safety information.
- Please bring suitable clothing and outdoor footwear.
- Steep climbs, uneven terrain and off path walking
- This walk is designed for children who are comfortable with the distance.
- Not suitable for pushchairs and young children.
- Dogs on leads welcome.
- Bring a picnic.
