New Year's Day Guided Walk at Lorna Doone Valley

Blow away the cobwebs with a guided winter walk along Badgworthy Water with the team in the Lorna Doone Valley. 

The walk will follow the river down into Badgworthy Wood and up across the moor itself for some great views of the valley. The walk is around two hours long. Please make sure to dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear. 

This event is £3 per person.

Please note:

  • Please meet at the Welcome Hut in the main Lorna Doone Valley car park.
  • This event is taking part outside and across some challenging terrain. Please bring waterproofs, warm clothing and suitable footwear.
  • There is accessible parking and a portable hearing loop. The walk is taking place across open moorland and there are two steep inclines. The ground is uneven in places and can be muddy especially in poor weather.
  • This walk is suitable for children over the age of 10. All children need to be supervised.
  • In poor weather or high winds this event will be cancelled.
