Behind the Shutters Tour

Explore the secrets of Ickworth's history and collections through a guided tour that takes you behind the scenes as winter conservation work takes over the Rotunda.

The winter months in the House are some of the busiest for the Collections team as they deep clean the rooms and carry out essential works. This tour gives you the chance to peer behind the shutters, to see some of the treasured collections, meet some of the colourful characters who shaped Ickworth and learn about how the team care for the house today.
