Botanical drawing - mastering the basics

Join professional illustrator Flis Tattersall on a foray around Hidcote garden. We will be selecting a range of seasonal plants to draw using fineliner pens, and brushes and ink. Expect simple drawing tutorials.
Suitable for all levels of experience. All materials provided. (Adults 18+)
Flis Tattersall is a professional illustrator and writer based in Oxfordshire, who previously lived in Cornwall. She has written and illustrated a picture book for children inspired by the magnificent Cornish sub tropical gardens. She creates illustrations for a range of clients and projects including for the National Trust, Tate St Ives, the Shipwreck Treasure Museum, Bodmin Keep, the War Ephemera project, the Royal Cornwall Museum, North Lincolnshire Museum, Newlyn Art Gallery, Falmouth Art Gallery, the Museum of Cornish Life and the SHOUTING softly Swindon project.
Please note:
- The event ticket allows entry to the event alone. If you wish to explore the gardens outside the times of the workshop, you will need to show a valid membership card or pay admission.
- Please head to Visitor Reception on arrival.
- Please wear sensible shoes and layers as we'll be exploring the gardens as part of this workshop.
- Please let us know of any access requirements you may have, and we will endeavour to accommodate them.
- This workshop is aimed at adults over 18.
